No one is safe in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. Abbacchio was killed by the boss of Passione. We knew from the boss's previous statements that Abbacchio was one of his main targets due to the fact that once Abbacchio uses Moody Blues's replay ability where the boss took a photo, they could discover his real face. The audience knew that he was a target and yet it was still a surprise to everyone who witnessed this moment for the first time. We haven't had a main character die in Golden Wind and the closest thing we had to a main character dying in Diamond is Unbreakable was when Yoshikage Kira blew up Shigechi. Before that we had the deaths of Kakyoin, Iggy and Avdol in Stardust Crusaders, which was a heavy blow to everyone watching JoJo's at the time. So the JoJo fan base has been blessed with no major character deaths for all of part 4 and a majority of part 5. Abbacchio was a character who was hard to hate in my opinion. Trish understands that if she moves towards Giorno's brooch on the ground, Notorious B.I.G will attack her. She contemplates running to the closet and hiding, but Trish notices the fact that the chairs on the plane all have a button to automatically recline them. She click it and Notorious B.I.G attacks the chair. Trish realizes that she must move slower than the speed at which the reclining chair is moving, else the enemy stand will strike. She slowly makes her way towards the brooch while reclining more chairs along the way. Suddenly, Notorious B.I.G attacks her boot. There is dripping liquid falling from her boot from a broken bottle, which is what attracted Notorious B.I.G's attention. Trish's boot slips right off of her foot, almost like her boot split in two to allow her foot out. Trish hears a voice, which turns out to be her new stand Spice Girl (subbed to Spicy Lady). Spice Girl tells Trish that she was the one that slipped her boot off; she also instructs Trish to...

Following a brand new opening for part 5, Traitor's Requiem or Uragirimono no Requiem, we see our protagonists navigating a boat through the canals of Venice and Buccellati is explaining that they shouldn't leave Venice until they defeat the elite guard members that are in Venice, since news of their betrayal to Passione is new, there shouldn't be many of them in Venice; this gives Buccellati and his crew an advantage. They stop to get food and beat the shit out of a guy who Narancia thought was an enemy. Buccellati tells the group that the boss's stand, King Crimson, is invincible, but if they can somehow find his identity, they might have a chance against him. Trish has been the key all along. Trish reveals to the group that she remembers her mother stating that her father used to live in Sardinia. Narancia notices something strange with his soup; his spoon disappeared. He then sees a shark swimming within his soup. The shark then appears in his spoon with soup still...

The protagonists head towards their final mission: deliver Trish to the mafia boss of Passione. Cruising there on a small boat, Buccellati reads to the rest of the team the information on the disc they retrieved. It stated one bodyguard should escort Trish to the top of a church and none of the other members of the team steps foot on the island. If someone deviates from these orders, the boss will take it as an act of aggression. The mysterious boss is being very careful about this. They arrive at the island and Buccellati decides that he will escort Trish to the top of the church. Giorno wanted to, but Abbacchio got suspicious. Buccellati asked Giorno for one of the ladybugs off of his shirt for "good luck" but in actuality Giorno turned the ladybug into a tracking device so Buccellati can put it on the boss. Buccellati and Trish head inside the church. Trish has some doubts due to the fact that she is being dropped off with a father she doesn't know anything about. Bucc...

Mista, Giorno and Ghiaccio are launched into the canal while still in the car. Giorno's body is freezing fast due to White Album. However, they are close to where the disc is located. Ghiaccio is freezing the water around them, making it difficult to fight or flee. Mista tells Giorno to turn the roof of the car into plants so Giorno created vines, but the only plant life that can live in that cold of a temperature is short grass, which starts growing. Mista is pulling the growing, freezing grass out of the car to create a snowboard to slide on the frozen water, but Ghiaccio undoes his ability, forcing Mista to plunge into the water. Mista gathers up some of the grass and throws it into the air. Giorno turns it back into a large screw from the vehicle and Mista shoots it into the forehead region of Ghiaccio's suit, plunging him into the water, temporarily incapacitated. Mista decided to go in the water after Ghiaccio, thinking that there has to be a way for him to breathe in the...

Prosciutto and Buccellati are being flung out of the speeding train they were on due to Buccellati creating a hole in the train and forcing both of them outside the train, but Pesci uses his Beach Boy to snag Prosciutto's hand to keep him from falling to his death. Buccellati has grabbed onto Prosciutto's legs so he does not fall as well. Buccellati uses Sticky Fingers to attack the fishing line attached to Prosciutto's hand, creating a zipper on Prosciutto's hand and forcing the fishing hook out of his body and reattaches it to Buccellati's own hand. Pesci notices the aging process has stopped on the passengers of the train, so he now knows that he does not have Prosciutto on his Beach Boy's hook anymore. Suddenly, the aging commences again and Buccellati notices that Prosciutto is still alive hanging on to life by laying on a railing on the bottom of the train. Pesci, with newfound resolve and inspiration due to Prosciutto still living and still using his stan...

Last week the staff from David Productions took time off for the New Year, so we had somewhat of a recap episode last week. We start back up in JoJo's with the gang driving to a train station in Naples to use the key that they obtained from the dog mosaic. Abbacchio's arm was reattached thanks to Sticky Fingers. Once they arrive at the station, they are instructed by the boss to use the key near a drinking fountain at the station and take the train to Venice. Mista makes fun of Fugo, who was looking at Trish and wondering how it must feel to be a target all her life. At the train station, we see two members from the Hitman Team, Prosciutto and Pesci, looking at Buccellati (who is near a drinking fountain). Buccellati cannot figure out where he is supposed to use the key, but then he notices that the turtle near the fountain has an indentation on its shell that resembles the shape of the key. Buccellati takes the turtle and goes on the train. Pesci and Prosciutto decide to try t...

Fugo is driving Giorno and Abbacchio to the dog mosaic in Pompeii in order to retrieve the key that Passione's boss put there. After a fit of anger from Fugo, they arrive and are met by an enemy stand user. Fugo sees a mysterious man in a mirror and warns the others that he is behind them. Looking behind them, no one is there. Realizing that he is not behind them, Fugo deduces that their enemy is within the mirror they are looking at. Fugo thinks quickly on his feet and shoves Giorno and Abbacchio away from the mirror. After doing so, Fugo is all alone and the enemy stand user appears in front of him. The enemy has detailed information on everyone in Buccellati's gang except for Giorno, who is new to the gang. Fugo realizes that they are within the mirror. This is the ability of the enemy stand Man in the Mirror (which is changed to Mirror Man in the subtitles). Abbacchio and Giorno are looking for Fugo, who just disappeared in front of them. We pick up where we left off from the previous episode where Formaggio survived the Aerosmith attack by returning to his original size. Narancia has also become so small, his stand does little damage to larger threats. Narancia chooses to hide in a bottle until he can think of a way to beat Formaggio, but Formaggio corners him and traps him under his foot. Formaggio decides to torture Narancia until he tells him where Trish is. We briefly flash back to Narancia's past, where we learn that his mother died when Narancia was at a young age and his dad was cold-hearted and distant. Narancia joined a group of kids where he idolized the leader, which he called "Bro". He even dyed his hair the same color as Bro's (which is blonde) when Bro told him that he would look good with blonde hair. The next day, Narancia was arrested for breaking into an elderly woman's house. He was not the perpetrator, but the crime was pinned on him. Bro actually did the crime and set up the w...

Narancia has noticed that he is shrinking at an alarming rate due to Little Feet's ability. Back at the house where Buccellati's team is hiding Trish, they are staring to get worried, especially Fugo. Giorno points out that Narancia is taking a long time to get back. Trish is also getting impatient, wanting the shopping items she asked for. Narancia realizes that he needs to call Buccellati and tell them about this stand user and his ability to shrink people. The automatic door to a shop will not open due to how small Narancia has become. Shattering the door with Aerosmith, he tries to call Buccallati. Formaggio cuts the phone lines, making sure Narancia cannot call Buccellati. He knows that if the team knows that he has attacked Narancia, they will move Trish. Narancia's stand finds Formaggio hiding in his back pocket. Formaggio escapes by using the force of unshrinking a pen, but Aerosmith finds him quickly and shoots at him, wounding his leg. Formaggio hides in a sewage ...

Episode 8 kicks off with some back story to the main Buccellati member of this episode: Mista. We learn that Mista was laid back and lived a happy life. He would pick fights with people when he saw fit. One day, he saw a man assaulting a woman in a car and chose to intervene. More men pour out of the car and shot bullets at him, with none of these bullets hitting him. He picks up a gun and shoots all of them dead. This was the first time Mista has ever killed someone. Flashing forward to present day, we see Sale (the stand user Mista is up against) survived a bullet to the head that Mista shot at him previously. While on top of the moving truck, Sale reveals his stand Kraft Work (or Arts and Crafts). Mista pulls back to reload, but his hand is stuck to the truck. The driver reveals his hands are stuck to the steering wheel and his feet are stuck on the gas pedal as well. Mista notices the bullets Kraft Work deflected are now floating around Sale. Mista has the realization that his stan...

We start episode 7 of Golden Wind with the members of Buccellati's gang kicking the shit out of Zuccjero's body for all the trouble he put the gang through. Mista chooses to interrogate his severed head (still alive and functioning due to Sticky Finger's ability) as they head towards Capri, the location of Polpo's hidden treasure. Mista fastens eye glasses to Zucchero's face while keeping one of his eyes open with a fishing hook, so the sun shines into the eye glasses and is intensified onto one eye of Zucchero. Narancia proceeds to dance like never before to some funky music, prompting Fugo and Mista to join in on this torture dance. Abbacchio cuts off the gang before they can torture the severed head more, showing them that Zucchero notified someone via radio on the island of Capri, likely his partner, that they are headed to Capri on a boat. Moody Blues plays back that message and the gang decided to ambush that mysterious partner on Capri before he realizes that...

We kick off our bizarre adventure this week with Abbacchio's backstory. He was once a police officer who wanted to spread justice. That is, until he found out that gang members and other criminals he was locking up just get released again by posting bail. He saw corrupt people all around him and so he becomes corrupt. This ends up getting his partner killed. Abbacchio took a bribe to look the other way from a criminal and that very criminal shot and killed his partner. After this tragedy, Abbacchio vows to never have his heart moved again. Jumping back to present time, Abbacchio is determined to solve what this enemy stand does and where the other gang members are being held. Attempting to follow where the fly goes that Giorno made from Narancia's shoe, Buccellati uses Sticky Fingers to open holes in the boat, looking in pipes and below the deck to see if the enemy stand user is hiding there. Hopping below quarters, Abbacchio uses Moody Blues to try to determine what exactly ha...

We begin episode 5 with Buccellati talking to Giorno about the hierarchy of Passione. The boss is the head honcho and everyone answers to him, even though no one knows anything about him. Next are the Capos, who answer to the boss and give orders to the rest of the gang members. Buccellati tells Giorno that in order to take down the boss, they must have a team and get close to him so they can learn everything they can about him. We cut to two Passione gang members talking about how Polpo committed suicide, so his hidden treasure is up for the taking. After this short encounter with potentially villainous gang members, we meet the rest of the gang. Fugo is teaching Narancia math (and Narancia is failing), Mista is freaking out about there being four pieces of cake and Abbacchio is listening to music. Giorno meets them and Abbacchio urinates in the tea kettle and urges Giorno to drink it. He does so, but he turned one of his teeth into a jellyfish that sucks up the liquid he just drank. ...

In the fourth episode of Jojo's part 5 anime, we pick up where we left off with Black Sabbath attacking Giorno and Black Sabbath pulling Giorno's soul (it shows Gold Experience being pulled from Giorno's body) and Giorno then gets serious. Giorno attacks Polpo's stand, but it disappears. The fight goes on a little longer before Giorno discovers Black Sabbath's weakness: the sun. He then notices that Black Sabbath can only move within the shadows. Koichi enters the scene, thinking Giorno attacked the old man that Black Sabbath killed. Koichi is attacked by Black Sabbath, but Giorno saves him. Koichi notices the stand arrow, baffled as to why it is in Italy. Giorno convinces Koichi that his actions are right and that he is on the right path. Revealing that Black Sabbath is a long range stand type, they hatch a plan to trap Black Sabbath in a shadow that the object making the shadow can be destroyed, thus defeating Polpo's stand.
