The team leave Venice via a boat and head to an airport, where they believe they will be safer in the air. They will take an airplane to Sardinia, where they can find more info on the backstory of the mysterious boss of Passione. Moody Blues is used to start the plane and eventually fly it as well. Narancia notices someone coming to the plane they are boarding due to his Aerosmith's detection. Mista warns him to step back, but he keeps moving forward and reveals his stand, so Mista shoots him dead. Giorno checks to be sure that he is truly dead, which he is, and wonders why that fight was so easy. They get into the air after Giorno confirms that there are no other living creatures on the plane besides them. Fugo is in a tough spot as Illuso has pulled him into the mirror realm without Fugo's stand to help him. Illuso is distracted by Abbacchio running toward the dog mosaic to retrieve the key. As Abbacchio reaches the key, a mirror is there beside the key. Illuso pulls him into the mirror world, but Abbacchio is actually his stand disguised as himself. Illuso has pulled Abbacchio's stand, Moody Blues, into the mirror realm with him. He attacks Illuso but Illuso pulls the real Abbacchio in with another shard of a mirror. Illuso permits half of Abbacchio into the realm and allows half of Moody Blues to leave, leaving Abbacchio incapacitated. Abbacchio severs his own hand, with the key in it, and uses Moody Blues to send the severed hand back to Giorno. Illuso runs off to retrieve the key. Giorno gets the key, but Illuso stops him and pulls Giorno into the mirror realm as well. Giorno reveals that he has been infected with Purple Haze's virus ability, which has now infected Illus...

We kick off our bizarre adventure this week with Abbacchio's backstory. He was once a police officer who wanted to spread justice. That is, until he found out that gang members and other criminals he was locking up just get released again by posting bail. He saw corrupt people all around him and so he becomes corrupt. This ends up getting his partner killed. Abbacchio took a bribe to look the other way from a criminal and that very criminal shot and killed his partner. After this tragedy, Abbacchio vows to never have his heart moved again. Jumping back to present time, Abbacchio is determined to solve what this enemy stand does and where the other gang members are being held. Attempting to follow where the fly goes that Giorno made from Narancia's shoe, Buccellati uses Sticky Fingers to open holes in the boat, looking in pipes and below the deck to see if the enemy stand user is hiding there.
