Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Golden Wind Episode 4 Discussion

In the fourth episode of Jojo's part 5 anime, we pick up where we left off with Black Sabbath attacking Giorno and Black Sabbath pulling Giorno's soul (it shows Gold Experience being pulled from Giorno's body) and Giorno then gets serious. Giorno attacks Polpo's stand, but it disappears. The fight goes on a little longer before Giorno discovers Black Sabbath's weakness: the sun. He then notices that Black Sabbath can only move within the shadows. Koichi enters the scene, thinking Giorno attacked the old man that Black Sabbath killed. Koichi is attacked by Black Sabbath, but Giorno saves him. Koichi notices the stand arrow, baffled as to why it is in Italy. Giorno convinces Koichi that his actions are right and that he is on the right path. Revealing that Black Sabbath is a long range stand type, they hatch a plan to trap Black Sabbath in a shadow that the object making the shadow can be destroyed, thus defeating Polpo's stand. The plan backfires when Black Sabbath uses the shadows created by crows in the sky to attack Giorno. Black Sabbath grabs onto Gold Experience's legs, which prompts Koichi to use Act 3's Freeze move on Black Sabbath's hands to force the stand to let go, to no avail. Giorno, with access to the tree's roots from the cracks in the concrete, ages and destroys the tree and the shadow that it is casting, forcing Black Sabbath into the light of the sun, thus defeating Polpo's stand. Koichi, about to tell Jotaro of all things that happened, is stopped by Giorno. He asks Koichi to wait to tell Jotaro, in case the mob hears about this conversation. Koichi accepts, stating that he will tell Jotaro in person. Giorno heads to Polpo's cell, showing him that the lighter is still lit, so he is allowed to join the gang. Polpo gives Giorno a pin, signifying that is is a member of Passione. Before Giorno left, he turned one of Polpo's guns in his cell into a banana. When Polpo goes to eat that particular banana, he ends up shooting himself with the gun, ending his own life. Giorno meets up again with Buccellati, who then leads Giorno to where the rest of his team is. We see a shot of Narancia, Fugo, Mista and Abbacchio before the episode ends. This ends episode 4 pf part 5.

While many of the shots in this episode looks very good, there were times when fans noticed the quality start to dip. In the picture below, this is one of the examples I am referring to. While this can be seen as worrisome for the rest of the anime, I believe these instances of dipped quality will be rare and won't be as noticeable as some of the instances in part 4. David Production has take their time with part 5, so I am optimistic and hopeful that part 5 will be beautifully animated throughout the series, like it has been in these early episodes.

At the end of this episode we get a shot of Buccellati's team, who (for the most part) are the primary protagonists in part 5 of Jojo's. These people are all stand users and will aide Buccellati and Giorno in taking down Passione. These stand users we are introduced to Abbacchio, Fugo, Narancia and Mista. The anime will go into more detail about these characters, their traits and stand abilities, so I will leave the information here as it is, so people are not spoiled. As always, I am excited for next weeks episode and I have been greatly enjoying Golden Wind so far.
