JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Golden Wind Episode 21 Discussion
Giorno starts to notice strange things happen as the team waits on the boat for Buccellati. Time starts to skip for them and Giorno notices this. He finds out later that this is due to King Crimson's ability. Giorno decides to head to the church where Buccellati was supposed to meet the boss. Buccellati has been punched right through his stomach by King Crimson, but Buccellati counterattacks by turning the hole into a closed zipper and trapping King Crimson's fist in there. Buccellati lands a successful blow, but King Crimson walks through time, dodging a barrage of blows from Sticky Fingers. King Crimson chops right into Buccellati's shoulder, causing massive damage. The boss goes to finish off Trish, but the ladybug pendent that Buccellati got from Giorno and planted on the boss sucks him into it. The ladybug was actually Coco Jumbo and this bought Buccellati precious time. He opens a zipper in the floor and tosses the turtle into the pipes. Buccellati attempts to drag himself and Trish up the stairs, but he is stopped by King Crimson. King Crimson attacks, but Buccellati was ready. He set up a zipper trap and detached his own arm so he could punch King Crimson, but King Crimson activates and he goes on the offensive. Buccellati unzips a zipper he put on a pillar and ascends up the pillar, narrowly escaping King Crimson. Giorno gets to Buccellati lying on the floor badly injured. Giorno heals his wounds, but Buccellati has already passed. Sticky Finger's zippers start to turn to dust around Giorno. Buccellati's spirit tells Giorno to warn the rest of the team. Giorno looks around to see who said that and Buccellati wakes up, repeating what his spirit said, seemingly okay. Giorno warns the others by throwing the laptop he was carrying at the others, alerting them to come to where Buccellati and Giorno are. King Crimson decides to give up on the chase, afraid that one of Buccellati's gang members could learn his true identity. Buccellati, carrying Trish, goes with his team back to the boat. Buccellati tells the rest of the team that their boss tried to kill Trish, his own daughter. Giorno and Buccellati are now considered traitors of Passione. Buccellati falls to his knees, assumingly from the extensive damage he took earlier, and pokes a hole in his hand when he catches himself. Giorno notices that no blood came from the wound he just created on his hand. The team is terrified that they are now wanted by all of Passione and Buccellati tells them that they are not traitors; only Buccellati and Giorno are considered traitors right now. Buccellati declares that they are going to try to defeat the boss and warns everyone else not to associate with them now or they could be in grave danger. After much consideration Abbacchio and Mista decide to join Giorno and Buccellati on their mission. After the boat leaves, Narancia also decides to join them after he realizes that he and Trish are very similar. Fugo tells all of them that they are being rash and not thinking clearly, for all of them are now wanted by one of the largest organizations in all of Italy. Fugo decides to not join them on their mission. We hear two members of Passione talk to each other on the phone about taking out the new traitors in Venice. This heart wrenching episode ends here.
Buccellati's entire team was duped into protecting Trish and getting her to Venice just so the boss of Passione could kill her himself in order to be sure that no one would know of his true identity. After learning of this, Buccellati betrays the boss. He was planning on doing this from the get-go, but now he has a legitimate reason to tell the rest of his crew. Everyone save for Fugo joins Buccellati and Giorno on their quest to defeat the boss. The protagonists have fought many enemy stand users to get Trish to the boss, only to learn that their boss had ulterior motives for wanting Trish brought to him. Now, instead of the Hit Man team attacking this group, the boss will send his most powerful stand users from Passione after them. Currently, the Hitman Team only has one other member (Nero) due to the fact that Buccellati's team has defeated all of the other ones that were after them. However, after defeating almost all of the Hitman Team and making their way to Venice as per the boss's orders, they must now defend themselves against the best stand users of Passione all while attempting to figure out who the boss really is and defeat him once and for all all while still protecting Trish from these assassins the boss sends their way. This is a daunting task that our protagonists must deal with, but they must do this in order to defeat King Crimson's stand user.
